"Janie held his head tightly to her breast and wept and thanked him wordlessly for giving her the chance for loving service. She had to hug him tight for soon he would be gone, and she had to tell him for the last time. Then the grief of outer darkness descended."
Before Tea Cake passed, Janie held him tight to let him know she love, and always did love him, she let him know she was always her for him and he will live through her. Nobody would get in the way of there love and passion for eachother.
"She was busy feeling grief to dress like grief."
She was feeling down but didnt want anyone to see it so she decided to hide it in and let it see through the clothes she wore and how she presented herself.
